As leaders of organizations in Africa, we need to be asking ourselves the question:  How will it matter to Africa that I lived?

We are blessed beyond measure by virtue of our positions as leaders of organizations. We are already at or near the top of the food chain in Africa and have attained levels of lifestyle comforts that many Africans can only dream about. Does our responsibility as leaders or organizations stop at providing food, shelter and education for our families and paychecks for our current employees? Or do we have a responsibility to groom our current employees to become leaders themselves and equip them with the skills and resources to provide the paychecks for future employees yet unknown and unborn?
